Expediting activities are carried out by sideco expeditors in order to ensure that materials are delivered on time according to the contract and in line with the project schedule besides highlighting possible unforeseen events that could be cause of delay.

Expediting activities are systematically carried out according to a specific procedure that keeps the work process under control by means of periodic controls of the supplier's manufacturing schedules.
The expeditors during their surveillance activities follows a specific expediting check list that includes:

  • review of order content and evaluation of supplier production capability.
  • review of the correct understood, by the supplier, of order requirements.
  • availability of the necessary material for construction and in the negative review of schedule time of arrival. 
  • review of expediting activities of supplier on the respective subsupplier's.
  • review of approval status of the documents related to production, inspection, release of material for shipment
  • effective production status and respective scheduled date of material ready for final inspection.

After review of above points the results of expediting activities are written in a report and forwarded to client.
